On June 5th, The National will play at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, which can fit 17,000 people. Youth Lagoon will open.

According to this Cincinnati blog, The National will play Obama campaign gigs in Columbus and Cincinnati on October 3 and 4. No word yet about tickets, but I will post updates as I get them.

According to Pitchfork, The National, Rufus Wainwright, Doveman, and They Might Be Giants will play the Freedom to Love Now! concert to benefit marriage equality.

The concert is on October 30th at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
