UPDATE: The National to play FREE Obama Campaign Concerts in Columbus and Cincinnati, OH next week (how to get tickets)

According to this Cincinnati blog, The National will play Obama campaign gigs in Columbus and Cincinnati on October 3 and 4. No word yet about tickets, but I will post updates as I get them.

Securing tickets for the Ohio shows is a two step process.  First, sign up online by following the link for the show you’d like to attend:

The National to support gay marriage at benefit concert on Oct 30

According to Pitchfork, The National, Rufus Wainwright, Doveman, and They Might Be Giants will play the Freedom to Love Now! concert to benefit marriage equality.

The concert is on October 30th at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
